I bought a craftmatic bed th summer of 2016. The frame will not fit a headboard, and the vibration no longer works and has not worked since May 2017.

My bed was purchased to care for circulation problem. Being able to raise the head and foot board. I will do none of the above and have not had it 2 years yet. The sales pitch was wonderful, when delivered it was not attached to a head board, but the attachments were left in a box. Tried to attach to headboard, bed slides all over the floor when you sit on it. The features for which it was purchased don't work. I paid cash for this and am very unhappy, that it is worthless. Could have gotten a better deal on a regular bed.

Ifell out of bed many times . When i had the orginal mattress it broke down on the edges and it broke down and i had to put on a new matress.

I put on a temperpedic mattress and added a rail to the foot of my bed. The other day i fell out of bed again with matress falling on me again . I do not understand why you did not have a rail around the bed. To keep enclosed.

The two beds to make the the king size adjustable bed. We got your letter about about the fix my husband was not interested in fixing after more then 5 years when we bought the bed .

Why don't people juat get a hospital bed! My late father while in home hospice had a hospital bed side rails included.

People are enamored by all the fanfancyxy bells and whistles of a bed and go duhhhh it doesn't work! They see an infomercial and buy without checking complaints and go duhhh the bed doesn't work! Salesmen will say anything to sell and customers go waahhh the bed doesn't work! The bed is set up and you don't check to make sure all works before they leave and then complaints!

He pressured me he lied ro me! What do you expect! No prices shown and you expect it to suddenly change? I see the commercials.

Of course they'll make it look better. Either go to a bed store or get a hospital bed and make sire everything works!

People fall out of this bed because there is not the usual support around the edges of the bed as there is on a regular bed. Do not buy this bed for the elderly. They will just keep slipping out of the bed

Not an unhappy customer - Parents loved their Craftmatic Beds for 15-20 years

My parents bought the dual king Craftmatic Beds roughly 20 years ago. They never had a problem and loved their beds.

The beds were set up in their room and attached to their king-sized headboard. After Dad and then Mom passed away within two years of each other, we had an estate sale. We found it almost unbelievable that several buyers were waiting for the auctioneer to get to the Craftmatics. They were purchased, adjustable frames, remotes and even the mattresses (still in good shape and very clean in appearance).

I am considering buying a single adjustable bed for myself. The reviews on this site are really disturbing. My parents had to call customer service once in all the years they had the beds and problem was fixed to their satisfaction quickly.

After reading comments on this website, I am concerned that perhaps the quality and service may not be what they used to be. Of note, I have friends who also purchased used Craftmatic beds, including the mattresses that were also over 10 years old and they don't know how they lived without them!

The sales rep. IMMEDIATELY tried to upgrade me, when I told him what I wanted. He was more interested in his commission than what I wanted. I hung up on him. I would not buy from them if I had to sleep on the floor. Then they had the nerve to call back the next day. I gave them a piece of my mind. I would say that they are a VERY untrustworthy company, from the reviews that I have read. It seems to me that the sales rep. should ask the customers questions. This requires 100 words and I don't know if I can add anymore to what I have already said so I can get in 100 words.

Craftmatic Legacy Bd

The bed is expensive, we have had it since May 2, 2017 and it only worked for the first two weeks. Got the run around for 2 weeks from customer service until finally told to contact the warranty center number.

Called the warranty number and they said it was the remote control, they sent us a new remote and it only worked for 2 days, Called them again and they said they would have a technician call us by that Wednesday, no call came so called again was told the part had been ordered and that there had been an issue getting the part, it had to be reordered, A week later the technician came with the new parts, but they didn't work either, He called Craftmatic to reorder the parts again was told they would be in by the end of that week.

It has now been two weeks without a call that the parts are here. We have had this bed for over 90 days and not able to use it as intended.

I got scammed also from a company supposedly Crafmatic based out of Flordia was not what i wanted, overpaid, the mattress was to firm, could change for an additional charge. The company changed ( moved or never existed).

Shortly after had charges to my account from the same area totaling over $4000.00 from different companies. I was stupid and allowed myself to get scammed because of them offering a price that was lower than I had seen when looking at them and didn't check out the company, trusting everything was legitimate trusting Craftmatic name and they are good at what they do( SCAMMING) TALKING YOU INTO THEIR GREAT DEAL !!!! BUYER BEWARE ....anyways it stopped working after 3 months and nobody was there because it didn't even exist.

So out all the way with no way to do anything about it, it still makes me sick even thinking about it so if this helps one other person from having the same experience than I'll feel a bit better about it. Beware..Beware !!!!!

We purchased these beds in the early 2000's and, they were nothing like he salesperson said that they were. The mattress started to lean and was lopsided.

The bed was very uncomfortable. And also, when they first brought the beds out the the bottom portion of one of the bed was higher than the other one, so we had to have them bring out another one. Also, this company went bankrupt when we had those beds and another company had taken over.

Such a big waste of one's hard earned money. Please beware of this SCAM-------.

Got bedbugs, and the way the box springs are put together with loose materials and stapling gun, I'm 70 and she is 75 (has COPD and heart problems) and never had bedbugs before. I bought 2 mattress covers that were water proof and bug proof, shortly after we bought the beds.

After 2 spaying we still are seeing baby bugs under neath the beds. The person spraying didn't think much of how the assembly is done. senior citizens are paying the price and loosing. PS We are not rich and are on Social Security.

The billionaires and millionaires in are government are cleaning up and the rest of us are looses !!!!! There response: Craftmatic Service Jun 2 (1 day ago) to me -- do not edit -- Kenneth E Marshall, A customer support staff member has replied to your support request, #107864 with the following response: Good morning, please see response on ticket: 179139 I am sorry, but there is no cover that can go over the base to my knowledge. So sorry, but looks like an exterminator is your best option. You will also have to treat the rest of your home as bed bugs do not only live in the bed, but in your walls, furniture and other things in your home.

Your exterminator will have to give you some better advice. So sorry, I hope you get rid of your problem. This ticket will be closed as a duplicate ticket. We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions.

What good are if you have to hide your price. If you a t post your prices and have to lure pepole in tnan you are crap. Just like your button at the botton for being contacted. You cant uncheck and I DONT WANT TO BE CONTACTED!

My elderly mother splurged to buy a craftmatic. Unfortunately she hasn't gotten a good night's sleep since she got it. I am trying to find a different mattress that may go with the adjustable frame. I can't afford one, but saving my pennies. All that money wasted. Nice concept, mattresses aren't for the elderly I guess?

$760 to cancel delivery.

We ordered a craftmatic bed on May 24, 2017. It was at the Manna distribution on June 2, 2017. I called Manna to schedule my delivery. They said it was being delivered by one of their local agents and I would have to wait for them to call me. Well, yesterday, June 12, 2017, I called Manna back and got the name and number of their local delivery, Always Delivery. When I called Always a young lady answered and I could hear a baby in the background. She said the scheduler was on the truck and would call me 24 hours before he would be delivering in my area. I called craftmatic yesterday and they said they would call Manna. Manna called me and said the scheduler would call me that day and that they, Manna, would call me later that day to make sure the scheduler called. Guess what? No phone call. Come to find out, the people from Manna that I was talking to are in Minnesota and my bed is in San Francisco. I am two hours from SF and Always Delivery is in San Francisco. So, I am assuming AD was waiting to have other deliveries closer to where we live. I called craftmatic again this morning and they assured me they would make sure the bed gets to me this week. I informed them that all the run around from the delivery people reflects very poorly on craftmatic. Besides, one person I spoke to there was very rude and I hung up on them. At that point my husband and I concluded that if we had this kind of hassle what kind of customer service would we receive if something was wrong with the bed. I called and cancelled delivery. They informed me it would cost us $760.00 to cancel since the bed had been shipped. I then found this site where we could air our grievances.

My 87 year old mother ordered a craftmatic bed on 4/19/18 we received the paperwork with date of delivery and tracking # it was to be here on 5/1/18 we tracked it the night before and it was suppose to be here between 8am & noon at 1 I decided to call them they said it shows here it was refused because of damages but the fact is no one called us no one showed up here and if I wouldn't have called who knows. The thing is my mother was excited about her new bed we spent the day cleaning and vacuuming her room and we also gave away her bed so now she at the age of 87 will be sleeping on the couch and when I called they acted like they understooid my position but basically did not one dam thing to help

I purchased a Craftmatic bed around April. I was told that I had a money back guarantee except for a restocking charge.

I kept the bed for a while and found that it was very uncomfortable to me. So I called my salesman Paul to let him know. I left several messages for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Got no calls back I spoke to a savanna who said she would help me and try to get Paul to call me back.

I waited and waited. No calls back! So I called again then I got Claudia Claudia says we cannot cancel the order it is up to Paul. She would let Paul know to call me back.

Still no calls back! Then when I finally got Paul on the phone he told me that he would have to transfer me to the billing department to have it set up to be picked up. So he transferred me over and I spoke to a woman who said to too late it's already past the return date. I told her it would not be past the return date if they had only called me back when I first started leaving messages.

They told me there was nothing I could do I am stuck with the bed and I cannot have it returned. So for anyone out there interested in this bed please run around like crazy period they are only good and nice to you as long as you they do not have your money. Once I get your money they will never speak to you again period until it's past the due date to tell you too bad you cannot have your money back they will not pick up the bed you were stuck with it.

Now I'm going to have to get a lawyer and have friends of mine at work give me letter stating that they heard me call for weeks and weeks and weeks to get my money back in this *** bed picked up. Only time will tell if I ever get my money back in this *** bed picked up so far I'm just out $4,000.00

I call Craftmatic Beds because after 20 years the control that raises & lowers the mattress when bad, the Customer Service person told me I was out of luck because they don't make them any more, he then ask me if I had replaced the mattress, I said yes, his response "Well that is your fault you should have bought it from us and we would have made you a deal for a new bed" and hung up on me. I went out on my own and figure out to fix the control, but with that kind of customer service support, I recommend don't buy from them, the bed is good but highly overpriced.

I bought my Craftmatic in 2003. I have had the remote or the wire that goes into the remote broken.

The first time, I had no trouble with them replacing the new wire. This time, I can't get through to the service number, the minute the operator comes on the line, we get cut off. They left a message to go to www.craftmatic.com. I did, and that service connection is down, removed, or they have changed the name to "File 13".

In other words, rots of ruck. I'm very disappointed in the service. Otherwise, I love my bed.

I still have the original mattress which is a hard or very very firm one that hasn't broken down. I did put a memory foam topper on it.

Craftmatic contacted me regarding the dual bed coming apart and falling through the middle. That's what happened to my bed.

It didn't break. It fell apart. So when I was contacted by the company about this issue I was thrilled, I'm getting my bed fixed. I mean, I spent $5,000 on it.

The bed fell apart at least two years ago. Anyway a sales lady called me and said "did our delivery people put it together". I said "yes". Then she said "thank you" and was about to hang up and I said "wait a minute it fell part we have the problem that the letter was sent about".

She said Did you break it? I said "no, it fell apart the pieces are still intact they are not broke". She was pretty nasty "well I'll have the service department call you". The only call I've gotten is from a lady who said "have you got your straps yet?" I said no.

She said she'd check on that. That was three weeks ago. I'm calling that original number again.

I guess I'll have to start this process all over again because when you call that number all they ask for is your reference number and your phone number and they'll get back to you. I not holding my breath.

Thank you so much for posting this I was looking into purchasing a craftmatic king size or califorinia king bed and mattress. I hate when companies do not stand behind their products this review has now cost them at least another $5000 and probably more than that.

Hey as they say '' stuff happens " But to have rude and ineffective customer service reps is reprehensible in today's business world. The world is now connected & I can see how Craftmatic treats it's customers & quality of bed, remote sales personnel etc. And I feel like I've been warned by other peoples experience with the bed & staff. I think I will heed their warnings & look at another company for my bed.

My Craftmatic bed has stopped working and I have been trying to call the service number for 2 weeks. It rings 2 times and then goes to a fast busy signal. The only way to request service is to fill out an online form which creates an auto reply to your email with a service ticket number and no idea of when someone will call back or anything else. What the heck is wrong with these people?? Crapppppppy service!!!!!!

Call the number and hit the option for new sales...1st time caller. You will get through everytime!

Oh they will end up transferring you to a recording. So leave a message and call back on the sales line,,,again and again and again! Eventually they will reconize you phone number and will keep cutting you off. So start borrowing friends phones and repeate above!

Leave a message everytime you call.

Keep a log.

Next day.....start calling again...and again...and again.

Then start to file complaints...BBB and the consumer division of your home state's Distict Attorneys Office to start. Find other puplic sites like this to file complaints.

Remember, squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Yes I know you should not have to go through all this.

But if you want your bed fixed, you may have no choice. Don't wait for a call from them that may never come because filled out an internet form.

The saleswoman Lied and got rude!

I called Craftmatic to get information on their beds. I spoke with a lady named Peggy D. We spome for some time to the point she disclosed her personal health issues. She told me that she had a legacy bed that was supposed to go to a customer, however they did not close on there house so they could not take delivery of the bed. She told me she gave my the special price and it would not last. We played phone tag then, i emailed her to let her know i would be calling the next day to make the purchase of ths bed. So fast forward to the next day. I am at work not able to answer calls. When i get a chance i call her back but got her answering machine. Then i get this email from her. Hi Mr. Simons, I've been holding the bed for you, since last night. When I tried to call you just now, it seems someone picked up and hung up. That's fine, it would have been so much more appreciated if you'd just been kind enough to tell me grandma just couldn't afford the bed. Have a good day, and I hope you find what you're looking for. God Bless Peggy Craftmatic So, i sent her a nice email back advising that i dont like her tone, and that we can afford the bed hence the missed call from me. So i had my wife call the company just seei g a out that she was told. Oh my low and behold there was no couple who could not take delivery of the bed. They are pushing the legacy for $2699.00. Peggy lied to me to try to rush us to make the sale for a " special " price for a bed that was not able to be delivered. This company is full of it. Were going to Pass! Oh this is the email i sent her about her tone and the response she sent me. (Me) Ok, I have been at work all day today and I am very certain that no one answered my phone. I actually called you back last night and again this afternoon. We can actually afford the bed and was calling to make the purchase. I don't appreciate the tone of this email. So we'll take our business elsewhere. (Her) Hi Mr. Simons, First, I'd like to apologize. I think if you check your phone you'll see that I did call. Maybe the call was dropped, if so, again I apologize. Ordinarily I'm only allowed to hold a special price bed for 1 - 2 hours, but since I missed you last night, I was able to push it back, which is why I was trying so hard to reach you. Please understand, we have 100's of people who say they'll return a call, when in reality the cost is just too high for them, so we never hear from them again. I never meant to offend or appear in any way to be disrespectful. I would love to earn your business, however, if you've chosen to go elsewhere then the best to you and your grandmother.
