I bought a craftmatic bed th summer of 2016. The frame will not fit a headboard, and the vibration no longer works and has not worked since May 2017.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
I have fallen out of this bed three times with the matress S
Ifell out of bed many times . When i had the orginal mattress it broke down on the edges and it broke down and i had to put on a new matress.
I put on a temperpedic mattress and added a rail to the foot of my bed. The other day i fell out of bed again with matress falling on me again . I do not understand why you did not have a rail around the bed. To keep enclosed.
The two beds to make the the king size adjustable bed. We got your letter about about the fix my husband was not interested in fixing after more then 5 years when we bought the bed .
Not an unhappy customer - Parents loved their Craftmatic Beds for 15-20 years
My parents bought the dual king Craftmatic Beds roughly 20 years ago. They never had a problem and loved their beds.
The beds were set up in their room and attached to their king-sized headboard. After Dad and then Mom passed away within two years of each other, we had an estate sale. We found it almost unbelievable that several buyers were waiting for the auctioneer to get to the Craftmatics. They were purchased, adjustable frames, remotes and even the mattresses (still in good shape and very clean in appearance).
I am considering buying a single adjustable bed for myself. The reviews on this site are really disturbing. My parents had to call customer service once in all the years they had the beds and problem was fixed to their satisfaction quickly.
After reading comments on this website, I am concerned that perhaps the quality and service may not be what they used to be. Of note, I have friends who also purchased used Craftmatic beds, including the mattresses that were also over 10 years old and they don't know how they lived without them!

Craftmatic Legacy Bd
The bed is expensive, we have had it since May 2, 2017 and it only worked for the first two weeks. Got the run around for 2 weeks from customer service until finally told to contact the warranty center number.
Called the warranty number and they said it was the remote control, they sent us a new remote and it only worked for 2 days, Called them again and they said they would have a technician call us by that Wednesday, no call came so called again was told the part had been ordered and that there had been an issue getting the part, it had to be reordered, A week later the technician came with the new parts, but they didn't work either, He called Craftmatic to reorder the parts again was told they would be in by the end of that week.
It has now been two weeks without a call that the parts are here. We have had this bed for over 90 days and not able to use it as intended.

Poor workmanship and materials under the box springs - Craftmans beds
Got bedbugs, and the way the box springs are put together with loose materials and stapling gun, I'm 70 and she is 75 (has COPD and heart problems) and never had bedbugs before. I bought 2 mattress covers that were water proof and bug proof, shortly after we bought the beds.
After 2 spaying we still are seeing baby bugs under neath the beds. The person spraying didn't think much of how the assembly is done. senior citizens are paying the price and loosing. PS We are not rich and are on Social Security.
The billionaires and millionaires in are government are cleaning up and the rest of us are looses !!!!! There response: Craftmatic Service Jun 2 (1 day ago) to me -- do not edit -- Kenneth E Marshall, A customer support staff member has replied to your support request, #107864 with the following response: Good morning, please see response on ticket: 179139 I am sorry, but there is no cover that can go over the base to my knowledge. So sorry, but looks like an exterminator is your best option. You will also have to treat the rest of your home as bed bugs do not only live in the bed, but in your walls, furniture and other things in your home.
Your exterminator will have to give you some better advice. So sorry, I hope you get rid of your problem. This ticket will be closed as a duplicate ticket. We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions.

Worst bed ever also worst customer service
I purchased a Craftmatic bed around April. I was told that I had a money back guarantee except for a restocking charge.
I kept the bed for a while and found that it was very uncomfortable to me. So I called my salesman Paul to let him know. I left several messages for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Got no calls back I spoke to a savanna who said she would help me and try to get Paul to call me back.
I waited and waited. No calls back! So I called again then I got Claudia Claudia says we cannot cancel the order it is up to Paul. She would let Paul know to call me back.
Still no calls back! Then when I finally got Paul on the phone he told me that he would have to transfer me to the billing department to have it set up to be picked up. So he transferred me over and I spoke to a woman who said to too late it's already past the return date. I told her it would not be past the return date if they had only called me back when I first started leaving messages.
They told me there was nothing I could do I am stuck with the bed and I cannot have it returned. So for anyone out there interested in this bed please run around like crazy period they are only good and nice to you as long as you they do not have your money. Once I get your money they will never speak to you again period until it's past the due date to tell you too bad you cannot have your money back they will not pick up the bed you were stuck with it.
Now I'm going to have to get a lawyer and have friends of mine at work give me letter stating that they heard me call for weeks and weeks and weeks to get my money back in this *** bed picked up. Only time will tell if I ever get my money back in this *** bed picked up so far I'm just out $4,000.00

Preferred solution: A Company should support the products they sell and their customer service should not be rude, impolite and insulting towards their customers who are looking for a simple solution to a minor problem
Craftmatic contacted me
Craftmatic contacted me regarding the dual bed coming apart and falling through the middle. That's what happened to my bed.
It didn't break. It fell apart. So when I was contacted by the company about this issue I was thrilled, I'm getting my bed fixed. I mean, I spent $5,000 on it.
The bed fell apart at least two years ago. Anyway a sales lady called me and said "did our delivery people put it together". I said "yes". Then she said "thank you" and was about to hang up and I said "wait a minute it fell part we have the problem that the letter was sent about".
She said Did you break it? I said "no, it fell apart the pieces are still intact they are not broke". She was pretty nasty "well I'll have the service department call you". The only call I've gotten is from a lady who said "have you got your straps yet?" I said no.
She said she'd check on that. That was three weeks ago. I'm calling that original number again.
I guess I'll have to start this process all over again because when you call that number all they ask for is your reference number and your phone number and they'll get back to you. I not holding my breath.

I was looking into Craftmatic bed but after reading some of these reviews, I won't. I understand working with products sometimes things go wrong.
Hey as they say '' stuff happens " But to have rude and ineffective customer service reps is reprehensible in today's business world. The world is now connected & I can see how Craftmatic treats it's customers & quality of bed, remote sales personnel etc. And I feel like I've been warned by other peoples experience with the bed & staff. I think I will heed their warnings & look at another company for my bed.

Why don't people juat get a hospital bed! My late father while in home hospice had a hospital bed side rails included.
People are enamored by all the fanfancyxy bells and whistles of a bed and go duhhhh it doesn't work! They see an infomercial and buy without checking complaints and go duhhh the bed doesn't work! Salesmen will say anything to sell and customers go waahhh the bed doesn't work! The bed is set up and you don't check to make sure all works before they leave and then complaints!
He pressured me he lied ro me! What do you expect! No prices shown and you expect it to suddenly change? I see the commercials.
Of course they'll make it look better. Either go to a bed store or get a hospital bed and make sire everything works!
Learn not to fall out of bed
People fall out of this bed because there is not the usual support around the edges of the bed as there is on a regular bed. Do not buy this bed for the elderly. They will just keep slipping out of the bed
