Craftmatic - Bed - great; customer service ***
My remote quit working - and in the middle of the night. The next morning I changed the batteries according the diagram. That didn't work. So I cleaned the contacts and changed the batteries again. No response so I flipped the batteries to face the same direction. That didn't work either. So I called customer (NO) service and was promptly transferred to a voicemail which promised a callback "shortly". There was no callback that day. So I called again. This time shortly was described as within 24 hours, and I was transferred to voicemail. I did not receive a response to either message.
I allowed them the weekend and Monday as well. Tuesday I tried again.
The representative talked over me the whole time, carried on about how all I wanted to do was complain, and when I insisted on a live person instead of voicemail - he hung up on me. Of course this bundle of irritation answered the phone when I called back. He told me that he had hung up on me because he didn't like my tone of voice. Well I don't like being lied to, or having nancy boy making derogatory remarks through out the call. And deliberately hanging up on me ! I think you might consider hiring a chimp. They are more polite and capable than your current staff. I finally got the remote fixed, when a live person trouble shooted the problem.
The increase in your commercials is useless when a real customer tells how you treat customers. Switch your ad budget to customer service training and monitor your staff.
